Congratulations! You’ve earned your Certified Leadership Coach Designation, logged 100+ hours of coaching experience, and now you’re ready to apply for your Level 1 Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential through the International Coaching Federation.

Your Performance Evaluation is the final step in your Certified Leadership Coach Program Level 1 Pathway.

Once we receive your 20-30 minute audio recording and transcript, one of Essential Impact’s PCC-Certified Markers will evaluate your coaching session. They will listen to your demonstration of the ACC Minimum Skills Requirements. After completing their evaluation, your PCC-Certified Marker will provide feedback during a 30-minute, one-to-one review session.

After earning a passing score, you will receive your Level 1 CLC Performance Evaluation Certificate of Completion and Digital Coaching Badge. This certificate confirms that you have completed the required coach education and demonstrated the necessary skills to apply for your ACC Credential through the ICF.

What’s Required?
Because the ICF frequently makes updates, we encourage you to carefully review the Performance Evaluation Information and Guidelines outlined on the ICF website before submission.

Current standards require submitting a 20 – 30-minute audio recording and transcript of a one-to-one coaching session between yourself and your coaching client to Essential Impact.

Upon receipt of your submission, our PCC-certified Essential Impact Marker will evaluate the recording against the ACC Minimum Skills Requirements.

What’s Included in My Performance Evaluation?
The Level 1 Performance Evaluation includes:

  • Review and evaluation of your 20-30-minute audio recording and transcript by a PCC-Certified Essential Impact Marker
  • A 30-minute review session including written and verbal feedback from your PCC-Certified Essential Impact Marker
  • Your Level 1 CLC Performance Evaluation Certificate of Completion and Digital Coaching Badge.

Where Do I Submit My Recording?
