What are Digital Coaching Badges?
Digital Coaching Badges are a suite of digital badges visually representing your training and achievement with Essential Impact. They validate your accomplishments, skills, and competencies. And they’re also easy to display, verify, and share online.
Digital Badges provide peers, employers, clients, and stakeholders with concrete evidence of:
- The Essential Impact Coaching programs you’ve successfully completed
- The skills, competencies you’ve demonstrated
- The ICF recognized hours and/or accreditation you’ve earned
How to Claim and Share Your Digital Badge
As a successful graduate of one of our Essential Impact Coaching courses, here’s how to can claim and share your digital badge.
1. Earn it
After you complete your coaching program, you’ll receive an email from Essential Impact via admin@credly.com confirming that you’ve earned a badge.
2. Claim it
Your email will include easy-to-follow, guided instructions to help you create your free digital badge account. Once you’ve set up your account you can claim your digital badge.
3. Share it
Credly enables you to share your badge directly to LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook. You can also embed badges into your website, digital resume, and email signature.

If you’re a successful graduate of one of the following Essential Impact Coaching programs, you’re eligible for a Digital Coaching Badge. Below is the suite of badges we offer along with some of the descriptive features others will see when they click on your badge.
Excelerator™ Essentials delivers world-class, foundational coach training and leadership skill-building. Through interactive learning, students integrate fundamental coaching principles and activate skills to expand conversations, build relationships, provide timely feedback, and reduce and resolve conflicts. Focusing on active listening, they learn to surface ideas, intentions, and motivational values. Upon successful completion, they gain 30 ICF Approved Coach Specific Training Hours.
Excelerator™ Mastery delivers advanced coaching techniques and applications to take your skill-building to the next level. Focussed on leadership integration, earners gain new strategies to address real-world leadership challenges and generate lasting team and organizational change. Earners consolidate theory, skills, and experience in a live, 20-min coaching session observed by peers and audited by accredited coaches. Successful earners gain 36 ICF Approved Coach Specific Training Hours.
Mentor Coaching delivers an in-depth exploration of the ICF Core Competencies and empowers you to excel as a coach.Earners demonstrate elite skill in Excelerator Coaching™ Principles and non-directive coaching competencies. They showcase this skill in a live 30-minute coaching session observed by an ICF-Accredited Coach. Upon completion, students earn 10 hours of ICF-recognized Mentor Coaching, and they may apply for their Certified Leadership Coach Designation through Essential Impact.
The Certified Leadership Coach Program (CLC) delivers comprehensive, world-class coach training and leadership skill-building. Earners gain all the theory and hands-on learning from Excelerator™ Essentials, Excelerator™ Mastery, and Mentor Coaching. Students progress from foundational principles to advanced coaching strategies. During the program, they also activate and integrate 7 core leadership competencies and apply them to real-world leadership challenges. Search active job listings and even apply for them with just a few clicks in Credly. Access the labor market insights from your badge details page by clicking on Related Jobs, or by clicking on the skill tags assigned to your badge.
Yes, you can download your badge from the Share Badge page. Your downloaded badge contains Open Badge Infrastructure (OBI) compliant metadata embedded into the image.
This allows you to store your badge on other OBI-compliant badge sites, such as the Mozilla backpack.
