Building A High-Performance Culture: Leadership Lessons from Rogers CHRO Jim Reid

Want to spend an hour learning how to create a high-performance culture with one of Canada’s top business leaders? You can! We recently sat down with Rogers CHRO, Jim Reid, and today we’re sharing the webinar replay.

Over ten years ago, Jim Reid became the CHRO at Rogers Communications – one of Canada’s largest telecommunications and media brands.

Jim’s goals were simple. He wanted to be number one in the market and make Rogers one of the best places to work in Canada

With a keen understanding of what it takes to win, Jim elevated the employee experience agenda by strengthening key programs in the areas of leadership development, frontline training, talent management, and most importantly, culture.

Reflecting back, Jim says, “…when we thought about the magnitude of the culture change we’re driving … and the fact that it would take us years to get from good to great, we saw very quickly that to be successful, our leaders needed to lead differently. So rather than go a mile wide and an inch deep to build skills, we made a decision to go narrow and very deep on one skill set – coaching.

In the video below, Ed Temple, Certified Executive Coach and Jody King, Certified Leadership Coach sit down with Jim to explore how coaching helps:

  • Increase leadership capacity
  • Increase employee engagement and retention
  • Boost team productivity
  • Enhance customer service
  • Create a high-performing, award-winning company culture
